Data processed and sources
We process information that you provide by email, through the contact or product-return form, during a customer relationship or when using the school-menu email subscription. This may include your name and contact details, message content, and customer, order, delivery, invoicing, support, warranty and return information. A product return may include the product name and serial number, purchase date and reason for return.
Technical service logs may contain data needed for security and operation, such as an IP address, time, requested address, browser or device information, and server response or error details.
Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to enquiries and requests for a quotation is based on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract or our legitimate interest in handling communications.
- Customer, order, delivery, support, warranty and return matters are processed on the basis of a contract, pre-contractual steps, legal obligations or our legitimate interests in customer service, operational security and legal claims.
- The school-menu email subscription is based on your consent. You can unsubscribe using the form on the school-menu page.
- Technical logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interests in protecting the service, maintaining its operation and investigating faults.
We do not use this data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Contact and return forms
The contact and product-return forms on the main site compose a message in your browser and open your device's email application. The website does not submit the form fields to Greenmoore before you send the message from that application.
Retention
We keep data only for as long as needed to handle the matter and to meet obligations connected with contracts, law, accounting, warranties, product support and possible legal claims. Enquiry retention is determined by the handling of the matter and any justified follow-up. A school-menu subscriber's email address is processed as required by the active subscription and technical maintenance of the service. Server-log retention is determined by security, operation, troubleshooting, the hosting arrangement and legal requirements.
Recipients
Data is processed by Greenmoore personnel authorised for their duties. Where necessary, data may also be processed in web-hosting, email and IT services, or disclosed to accounting, logistics, service, manufacturer or technical partners needed to manage the customer relationship. Data is disclosed to authorities where required by law.
International transfers
The website does not embed analytics or advertising trackers. Product support may nevertheless require a matter to be referred to a manufacturer or technical service provider outside the European Economic Area. The lawful transfer mechanism and safeguard depend on the recipient and country; they may include a European Commission adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another basis permitted by the GDPR. You can request information from Greenmoore about the recipient and safeguard relevant to a particular matter.
Your rights
Where applicable, you have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive data you provided in a portable format. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Contact the controller to exercise your rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
Cookies, browser storage and external services
In its current implementation, the FI/EN company website does not use cookies, browser storage, analytics or advertising trackers. A consent banner is therefore not displayed.
The school-menu service uses the strictly necessary PHPSESSID cookie to maintain a session and CSRF protection for its form. The cookie has Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax attributes. The service processes the email address entered in the form to subscribe or unsubscribe. These necessary functions do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
External links, including links to app stores and manufacturers, open a third-party service. After you follow a link, that service processes data under its own privacy notice. Third-party services are not embedded in this website.
Server logs are separate from cookies and do not require information to be stored on the visitor's device.
Security and changes
Access controls and technical safeguards for the service and data transmission are used to protect personal data. This notice will be updated if the service or processing changes.
